I wish I could have bought, wrapped and sent a Christmas present to everyone who reads my blog this year!  And while it isn’t the same, this year I thought I’d offer a gift in the form of a recipe – and my dad graciously offered up his Peanut Butter Pie recipe from our Christmas Feast.  Do yourself a favor – treat the peanut butter lover in you and make this pie!

Dad’s Peanut Butter Pie
2 Pre-Made Graham Cracker Crusts
8 ounces Cream Cheese
3/4 cup Confectioners (10X) Sugar
1/2 cup Peanut Butter
1/2 cup Cold Milk
9 ounces Cool Whip
In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, sugar, peanut butter and cold milk.  Beat together for five minutes.
Fold in the cool whip.
Pour into the crusts and freeze overnight.
This year my dad bought one graham cracker and one oreo crust.  Because he likes to mix things up like that.
Then devour.  And sneak a second piece.  No one will judge you.  You have to eat both pies, after all.
Feel free to substitute any of your favorite butters.  Almond Butter Pie?  I’m sure it would be delicious.
Enjoy!

Ok I decided to finally try this and it looks amazing. I am making it for a pot luck tomorrow for the Blue Ridge Bernese Mountain Dog Club. No worries it is for the humans not the dogs.
