Well, gosh.
These are good. And easy to make. And apparently a necessity when you are in the middle of an October Nor’easter. Here’s the recipe!
Peanut Butter Cup Bars
inspired from One More Moore
1 cup Butter
1 cup Peanut Butter
2 cups Graham Cracker Crumbs
2 cups Powdered Sugar
2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
4 tablespoon Peanut Butter
Start by melting your butter and peanut butter (1 cup) over low heat.
While this is heating up, crush up your graham crackers.
I like putting them in a ziplock bag and crushing them up to avoid making a huge mess (in theory anyway).
Stir the graham crackers into the peanut butter / butter mixture.
And then the powdered sugar.
Mix everything together!
And pour into a wax paper lined 9×13 pan.
Then slowly mix your chocolate and peanut butter over low heat. You can splash a little bit of milk in there while you’re melting, but it’s not required.
And spread that on top of the bottom mixture!
Then refrigerate the whole pan for at least an hour.
Then cut and eat – SO simple!
Take a bite!
Don’t mind if I do.
Stay safe everyone!
