I love photography. I love capturing moments in time. I love looking at a photo and seeing beyond the image. Photography is very much a spiritual practice for me.
Photography is an art – one that requires hard work, patience and financial investment. But you know what? It’s SO worth it! On this page you will find all of the equipment that I’m working with, some of my own tutorials and my favorite photography sites. Enjoy!

Filters
For the 18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6 lens
Quantaray 58 mm Tristar Optics Ultra Violet (UV) Filter (I keep this filter on at all times to protect my lens) Quantaray 58 mm Tristar Optics Circular Polarizer (C-PL) Filter (I use this filter in bright sunlight – it acts as “sunglasses” for the lens – and when shooting at water)
Quantaray 58 mm Yellow (Y2) Filter (I use this when I want contrast in my photos, usually when I’m shooting something that I know I will convert to Black & White) – I cannot find a link for this specific brand, but click here to see a different brand of the same filter
For the 50 mm f/1.8 lens
Quantaray Professional Series 52 mm Ultra Violet (UV) Filter (I keep this filter on at all times to protect my lens)
For the 75-300 mm f/4-5.6 III lens (Note: The filters for my 18-55 mm lens fit this lens as well)
Quantaray Professional Series 58 mm Ultra Violet (UV) Filter (I keep this filter on at all time to protect my lens)
